About

Enjoying the day with my family at the Kennedy Space Center.I am a Senior Lecturer at The University of Northampton, Northampton, teaching media technologies and interaction design as part of BSc Computing and BSc Business Computing programmes. My current research topics include QoE and human factors in online multimedia, programmable networks, SDN/NFV applications, and immersive media. I am the Principal Investigator of the EPSRC First Grant project SDCN: Software Defined Cognitive Networking (EP/P033202/1). I have over 50 publications in prestigious international conferences and journals including IEEE ComMag, IEEE J-SAC, IEEE J-STSP, and ACM ToM. I am a regular PC member and reviewer of conferences and journals.

As of Oct 2016, I serve as a Senate member representing the academic staff at the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology (FAST), The University of Northampton.
